Meet our Staff

Our owner has been involved in the store from day one. The Dance Bag was open in 1994 and has been locally owned and operated ever since. After graduating from Fresno State in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology, with an emphasis in Sports Medicine, Holly returned to The Dance Bag to take over the business. Since her return the store has increased its pointe shoe styles providing over 25 different options for dancers. Holly grew up dancing in valley and was a member of Bravo! Repertory Dance Theatre (now Central West Ballet). In 1996 she was chosen to perform in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City. Since that trip she continues to visit New York to attend classes in all styles of dance. Holly is a member of the International Association of Dance Medicine and Sciences, known as IADMS. She regularly attends workshops and lectures in Dance Medicine, and implements her medical knowledge during local fittings and lectures about pointe shoes. Her favorite ballets are Cinderella and Don Quixote, but truly loves any Broadway Musical!
